Canna Lily

These cannas are approximately six and a half feet tall. (My Mom loves Miracle Gro.) I thought the cloudless blue sky made an awesome backdrop. This is my first flower post. I think I'm going to enjoy shooting them.

I used my Nikon D40 in manual mode. 105mm macro/f2.8 @ f8, onboard flash with a milkjug diffuser. I was shooting up, so the sky provided the background.
