Debden Church. Black and white conversions from HDRI colour shots.

the second shot is a tighter view of the first. I think it is stronger because the windows outboard of the columns don't distract.
In the first shot they are visible and make the eye wander more.

I like that third pic. Can you tell us how you did them?
Nikon D300 (2), Nikon F100, Nikon SB800(3), Nikon 12-24mm F4ASFG, 35mm F2AFD, 105mm F2DC, 300mm F5.8 Celestron Reflex, Pocket Wizards (3).

bracketed shots, (shot in RAW). load to lightroom. No processing, just converted to Jpeg.
Loaded to Photomatix and made an HDR composite image.
Converted to B&W.
