Late last May, my son Evan whose 3-and-a-half discovered the garden hose while my wife was watering the gardens . . . .

Wheres the hose? I think it would be better if the hose was in the photo. You sure you dident spank him and hes running from you? Only kidding...

Where is the plastic backyard wading pool that the parents buy for their precious children?
Nikon D300 (2), Nikon F100, Nikon SB800(3), Nikon 12-24mm F4ASFG, 35mm F2AFD, 105mm F2DC, 300mm F5.8 Celestron Reflex, Pocket Wizards (3).

Down here we call that a POOL! heheheheh at least SHE did until we went for broke and bought her an $8 pool at Wal-mart... pink of course :)

Btw... I forgot to say but I think the expression you caught in your pic was great! I don't even think you need the hose in the pic, though if you could have caught the water itself THAT would have explained everything! A great pic of youthful exuberance :)

Okay, okay, okay compositionally, there are some missing elements. I'll have to see if I can find the water in the original RAW file.

You know what, if you click on it and look at the enlarged version you can see the water spray. Does anyone have a trick where i can make the spray more pronounced in the Jpeg? -I don't think I have the RAW anymore.

You could try selectively unsharp masking the water droplets... if you go a little too far they should stand right out.

That's a good idea!

Okay, It works in the sky, but not with the foliage behind it.
