Nice tack sharp photo, and the color is punched up! great photo was this with a 300 2.8?


This was with the 70-200 + 1.4 extender at f/4 (280mm), ISO 200, 1/6400 sec., -0.7 EC.
It was a very bright, contrasty day so this image had some problems. The birds beak and lower portion of the "beard" were selected in Photoshop and a selective burn done to help with some hot spots. The dark areas of the head and upper neck were selected and a light dodge was done to bring some details in the darker shadows up. The eye was selected and given a saturation boost in the blues and slightly sharpened. The image was then flattened, sharpened, saturated in the reds a bit and resized for posting.
