We've been in Whistler this past week for the Olympic Winter games and attended the finals of the two-man bobsleigh today. The event start got pushed back from 1330 to 1600 due to concerns over ice conditions because of the warm weather (for here) the past week. The sliding center track is the same one the Georgian luger was killed on during a practice session before the games opened. 3 non-competitor sleds driven by experienced crews went down the run just before competition began in order to report on the condition of the track. #1 is the 2nd forerunner about 50 yards from the finish.........wonder what his report would say. Germany 1 got gold, Germany 2 silver and Russia bronze.
