I know . . . they're very late but they are very busy people . . .so finally they got back to me and we came up with a Thank You card idea. . .

Here's what I put together tonight using the images she suggested for this. I emailed the proof to her this Eve.

This was particularly annoying because I didn't have any kind of filmstrip frame ready to go. I had to make my own (boo-hoo) . . . my crappy, good for nothing, scanner at home does not scan transparencies. The scanner at work does but it was designed by a moron and must cover-up everything except the picture frames themselves . . . etc. .

Anyway I managed to come up with this. I plan on using White House Custom Color to make 125 ($0.59 ea.) of these 5x8 greeting cards. WHCC provides the envelopes too.

Feedback, comments, spelling corrections welcome!

Interesting idea, especially if you can find four good pics in a row!

Thanks William. The bride really likes it and wants to use it as her thank you card.

Did you actually find four good pics in a row or can you just drop any four pics into this particular template?

It's not a template. I wish I had one. I actually scanned a negative, cut out the images and holes, and dropped-in my own pics . . .

Thank's Chimper . . .

So i just sent my first oder to White House Custom Color. Iused a basic two part order system that I think they are trying to get away from. I had to use their FTP client software to log-in to their server and up load my order directly. Then I used on online ordering system to actually place the order.

Of course after I go through all of that . . . creating this post makes me think for a sec. . . then I realize that they are pushing another ordering system. It's a script you download. When it opens you get an easy system that combines the above two steps.

Live and learn!
